Do you want to contribute to combating financial crime and ensuring compliance with regulations within one of Sweden's largest banks? Handelsbanken in Malmö is now looking for three consultants for the investigation of transaction monitoring alerts (TM alerts) and two consultants for handling the reporting of suspicious activities (SAR) to the Financial Police.

As part of Handelsbanken's work against money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF), you will play a central role in identifying and reporting suspicious transactions. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at Handelsbanken for 6 months. There is a possibility of extension or employment with the bank provided that all parties are satisfied. You will be based at the office in central Malmö.

• Analyze and investigate TM alerts to identify potential risks of money laundering or terrorism financing.
• Conduct risk-based assessments of customer transaction patterns.
• Review and interpret customer information, transaction data, and account statements to detect anomalies.

• Previous experience in investigating TM alerts within the financial sector.
• Ability to work on a risk-based approach and make independent decisions.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in work.

• Compile and report suspicious activities to the Financial Police via SAR.
• Data handling and reporting in relevant systems.
• Ensure that reporting complies with applicable regulations and internal guidelines.

• Good system and computer knowledge.
• Experience working in Excel and ability to handle large data sets.
• Speed and accuracy in data management.

• Experience with AML systems from the provider SAS.
• Knowledge of and experience working in the GoAML portal.

• Detail-oriented and structured with high integrity.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
